This year Cold Hollow Cider Mill is celebrating 50 years of making life more flavorful for our many guests and customers. Founded in 1974, Cold Hollow has been serving up smiles one refreshing glass of cider and delectable cider donut at a time.

The 19th century farmhouse and historic dairy barn that house our cider mill, bakery, retail store, café, mail order and wholesale operations remind us daily of Vermont’s rich agricultural history and the tradition of quality and purity for which Vermont is known. This heritage fires our imaginations and fuels our passions as we seek to steward our resources for future generations by sourcing locally and sustainably, showcasing our products and those of many other small Vermont businesses.

Situated on Route 100 between Waterbury and Stowe, Vermont, Cold Hollow Cider Mill is one of the most-visited attractions in Vermont, offering our guests a glimpse into the fascinating world of traditional cider making, utilizing our century-old, rack-and-cloth press. No visit to Cold Hollow is complete without tasting our cider, munching contentedly on a cider donut, watching the artisans in our bakery, observing our honeybee hive, enjoying a tasty breakfast or lunch in our café, playing cornhole on the lawn and enjoying a Vermont maple creemee.
